Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sayid Jarrah!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarrah clinches up with Brandao and pushes him back against the cage.
Brandao decides to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jarrah lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Brandao is trying to keep Jarrah in close.
Brandao has momentary wrist control but Jarrah slips an elbow through the middle.
Jarrah scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Jarrah has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jarrah is pushing down on Brandao's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brandao is fighting to maintain full guard but Jarrah has managed to sneak the leg through.
Brandao is staying active underneath Jarrah, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jarrah is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brandao has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jarrah wants to control but Brandao is keeping him busy.
