Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joaquin Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Barreras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortunado comes into the arena with Stairway to Heaven blaring out of the sound system. Barreras comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hellshock - Walking Death kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joaquin Fortunado could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Samuel Barreras's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samuel Barreras!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barreras throws a head kick but Fortunado moves out of range.
Barreras tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Barreras moves out of range as Fortunado throws a body kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Fortunado. Barreras shrugs it off though.
Barreras looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fortunado swings for the body but Barreras moves out of range.
Fortunado scoring well with a low kick there.
Barreras drops his hands momentarily. Fortunado doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Barreras staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Barreras doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

After the fight, Joaquin Fortunado was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
