The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djeiba lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Khan backs up against the cage.

Djeiba gets caught napping as Khan dives in and scores a takedown. Djeiba manages to retain guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Khan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Khan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Djeiba's guard.

Djeiba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Khan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Djeiba is just riding it out for now. Khan eventually gives up the hold.
Khan uses his free foot to push down on Djeiba's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Djeiba.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Djeiba is in a horrible position here. Khan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
