Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Baldeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rez Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears . Rez Cortez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baldeh shoots in but Cortez avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Baldeh shoots in looking for a takedown. Cortez tries to sprawl out of it but Baldeh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Cortez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Baldeh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baldeh closes the distance and clinches up with Cortez, looking for a takedown. Baldeh pushes Cortez against the ropes but Cortez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Cortez.
Baldeh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cortez sprawls well. Cortez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baldeh gets slowly back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rez Cortez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Baldeh shoots in looking for a takedown but Cortez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Baldeh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cortez throws a series of strikes that have Baldeh backpedaling.

Cortez connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Baldeh to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Cortez!
