Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Horse Spudd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Walter Kurtz!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurtz lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Spudd misses with a body shot.

Spudd looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Spudd throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Spudd pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kurtz is keeping the position for now.
Kurtz trying to keep a closed guard but Spudd is proving a slippery customer.
Kurtz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Spudd tries to free his leg and advance position but Kurtz is retaining full guard.

Spudd wants to control from the top but Kurtz keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Horse Spudd wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kurtz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Spudd throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Spudd doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kurtz drops Spudd with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Spudd looks back up at him and smiles so Kurtz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Spudd is rocked!

It looks like Horse Spudd has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spudd takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Oh Spudd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spudd is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kurtz finds Spudd's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Spudd flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Kurtz lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Spudd will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Walter Kurtz!
Walter Kurtz looked relieved post fight as he said the following; ' I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream; that's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor... and surviving. '.
