Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Mundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anas Rhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mundy scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Mundy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mundy misses with a wild combination.
Rhammer blocks a head kick by Mundy.
Rhammer slips a jab and a cross from Mundy.
Rhammer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rhammer is looking to clinch but Mundy is avoiding it.
Some wild striking there from Mundy.
Rhammer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Mundy tries to sprawl but Rhammer drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mundy wants to get back to his feet.
Rhammer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Rhammer content to control rather than advance.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rhammer lands a nice short elbow.
Well, if Rhammer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rhammer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mundy is in trouble now - Rhammer has advanced to mount!

Mundy is breathing heavily.

Rhammer stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Rhammer slips a jab and a cross from Mundy.
Mundy throws a right and a left that both miss.

Rhammer misses with a jab, cross combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rhammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Mundy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rhammer on the ground.
Rhammer is pushing down on Mundy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mundy is fighting to maintain full guard but Rhammer has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rhammer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rhammer stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Rhammer looking to score a takedown here. Mundy is defending well but Rhammer drives through and ends up in Mundy's guard.

Mundy is rocked!
Rhammer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh Mundy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rhammer scoring with punches to the head and body.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rhammer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rhammer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mundy's guard.

Rhammer stands up and beckons Mundy to join him on the feet.
Rhammer tries to land a front kick but Mundy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Rhammer closes the distance looking for a takedown. Rhammer picks Mundy up and slams him brutally to the floor. Mundy is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
