Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edogawa Conan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Cocksmith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Edogawa Conan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Edogawa Conan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conan closes the distance and clinches up with Cocksmith, looking for a takedown. Conan pushes Cocksmith against the cage but Cocksmith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Conan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cocksmith has time to react.

and Conan counters with a single leg into guard. Cocksmith didn't expect that.

Conan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cocksmith's guard.
Cocksmith tries to get to full guard but Conan has control of the leg.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Conan lands a nice short elbow.
Conan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Conan moves into full mount! Cocksmith won't be happy about that!

Conan is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cocksmith is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cocksmith flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Conan anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cocksmith and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Conan slips an arm under Cocksmith chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Conan has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Conan is squeezing on Cocksmith like an anaconda would it's prey. Cocksmith fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
