Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Freedmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Poddubny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Freedmen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hero by Skillet. Poddubny has chosen Champion Of The Champions as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedmen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Freedmen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Poddubny.
A left lands for Freedmen.
Poddubny shoots for a takedown but Freedmen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Poddubny throws a series of punches but Freedmen moves out of range.
Freedmen throws a one two combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Poddubny has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Freedmen.
Poddubny doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Roger Freedmen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freedmen connects with a looping right hand.
Freedmen throws a leg kick which misses Poddubny's front leg but catches the back leg as Poddubny tries to avoid it.
Freedmen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Poddubny's sensitive parts.

Freedmen lands a big head kick that sends Poddubny tumbling to the mat! Freedmen takes a step backwards and waves Poddubny back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Poddubny is rocked!

It looks like Ivan Poddubny has been cut.
Poddubny switches off momentarily and Freedmen cracks him with a monster right hand! Poddubny topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Freedmen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Freedmen!
