The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stein shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rolland is trying to defend but Stein finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Stein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rolland does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stein is looking to stall here but Rolland recovers full guard.

Rolland wants to get back to his feet but Stein is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rolland tries to bum rush Stein with a series of wild strikes but Stein uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Ein Stein has been cut.

Rolland misses with an uppercut. Stein saw that one coming.
Stein loads up on a big right hand but Rolland slips the punch.

Stein throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch lands to the side of Stein 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rolland throws a jab but it's blocked by Stein.
Stein throws a hook to the side of Rolland's head but Rolland sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rolland lands a nice shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Rolland misses the target.
Rolland slips under a jab.
Rolland gets cracked there but stands up to it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamie Rolland will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ein Stein's cut.

Rolland takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Stein lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rolland backs up against the cage.
Rolland dips to his left and cracks Stein with an uppercut!
Stein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rolland throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stein stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rolland connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stein. Stein circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rolland stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rolland wants it to stay on the feet.
Stein slips a straight right by Rolland.
Rolland bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Stein looks for a takedown but Rolland sprawls well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ein Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rolland scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Rolland cracks Stein with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Rolland tries a low kick but Stein avoids it.

Rolland misses with a few strikes there.
Rolland fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stein manages to avoid it.
Rolland connects with a body shot that sends Stein's belly button to the back.
Rolland throws the left hand but Stein avoids the punch easily.
Rolland avoids the body shot from Stein.
Rolland misses with a hook
and Stein makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rolland lands a nice looking body shot.
Rolland connects with a right hand. Stein shakes it off.
Rolland lands a jab to the nose.
Stein shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rolland pinned against the cage. Rolland gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jamie Rolland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ein Stein.

and Stein takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stein is still on wobbly legs! Can Rolland finish him?
Rolland jabs Stein right on the nose. Stein blinks but takes it well.
Stein swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rolland counters with a huge left! Stein is in big trouble! He's backing up but Rolland isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Stein from any more damage. A dominating finish by Rolland!
