Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Dickinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Oliwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Dickinson enables Oliwa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dickinson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliwa stands up over Dickinson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dickinson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Oliwa!

Dickinson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Oliwa's face.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oliwa avoids a series of strikes thrown by Dickinson.
Oliwa tries to lock up and control but Dickinson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dickinson wants to control the pace but Oliwa is squirming around nicely.

Dickinson throws a sloppy strike and Oliwa uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Oliwa has ended up in Dickinson's guard.

Oliwa is working Dickinson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Dickinson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Oliwa fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Oliwa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oliwa unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dickinson wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Oliwa celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

In his post fight interview, Mariusz Oliwa started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
