Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thunder Struck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Struck has chosen One 24 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Struck slips a jab and a cross from Knight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Struck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horrible takedown by Knight or perhaps it was just good defense by Struck which made him look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Struck sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

No joy there for Struck, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Struck lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Struck throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Struck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Struck fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Knight checks it well.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Knight crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Struck - the referee stops the clock and Knight gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Struck. Knight manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Struck is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Struck, right into the meat.

Nice uppercut lands for Knight. That snapped Struck's head back.

Knight has Struck pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Struck manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
