The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shorey throws a head kick that misses.

Shorey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shorey is in Silva's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shorey is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.

Lance Shorey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Shorey shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Shorey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shorey shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Lance Shorey has been cut.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shorey throws a low kick, looking for Silva's leg but Silva calmly moves out of range.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Shorey counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Silva goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Shorey turns into him and now he's in Silva's guard.
