Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aze Gori!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gori fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hall on the side of the head.

It looks like Matt Hall has been cut.
Hall blocks a jab.
Gori is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hall.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gori throws a hook but Hall blocks it.
Hall feints and then cracks Gori's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gori down.

Gori looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hall tries to kick Gori off but Gori keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Gori trying to control the action but Hall is working from the bottom.
Gori not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Gori is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hall reverses the position - he's now on top in Gori's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gori is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gori stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hall is trying to control the position but Gori postures up.

Gori wants to get up but he can't break Hall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hall slips a straight right by Gori.
Matt Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hall lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gori lands a jab to the head.
Hall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gori manages to avoid it.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gori paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gori misses the jab.
Hall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gori throws a looping overhand right but Hall ducks down to avoid it.
Hall ducks under a wild hook from Gori.
Hall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gori keeps the fight on the outside.
Hall tries to clinch up.
Gori misses with a looping right.
Hall tries to clinch there but Gori circles away.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gori paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hall digs a good hook to Gori's body.
Gori is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice takedown defense from Hall. No joy for Gori on that attempt.
Hall throws a head kick but Gori moves out of range.
Gori throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gori looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hall is fending him off so far but Gori persists. Nope, Hall circles away and we're back to standing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gori changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hall tries to avoid it but Gori manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hall to the ground. Hall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aze Gori. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hall tries to clinch but Gori moves out of range.
Gori throws a hook but Hall avoids it easily.
Gori cracks Hall with an open hand slap.
Hall has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gori finds it's way round the side to connect with Hall's head.
Gori fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hall lands a head kick!
Hall lands a slapping body shot.
Gori missing with a left hand there. Hall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Matt Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hall clinches.
Hall lands an elbow inside.
Hall lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Gori has had enough of the clinch but Hall keeps him there for the moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hall missing with knees to the body.
Hall is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Hall creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gori's defenses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gori managing to block the knees to the body from Hall.
Hall lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Gori lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gori jumps guard but Hall turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Gori is trying to pull guard but Hall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Hall blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gori tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hall smiles and moves away.
Gori shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hall pinned against the cage. Hall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gori swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gori.
Gori fails with the takedown.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gori loads up on a big right hand but Hall slips the punch.
Hall lands a brutal head kick. Gori looks out on his feet and Hall throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
