He has the power to get to Clay Davis's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pais's corner calls for a 1-2. Pais obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Davis slips under a jab from Pais.
Davis tries to clinch but Pais is having none of it.
Some wild striking there from Pais.
Pais lands a nice leg kick that just misses Davis's sensitive parts.
Davis takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pais showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Davis.
Pais's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pais scrambles back to his feet.
Davis misses with an uppercut
enabling Pais to counter with a crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pais displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Davis throws out the jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pais.
Davis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pais.
Pais throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That kick from Pais tenderised Davis's leg. Davis is trying to keep his angry face on.
Davis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pais gets tackled into the cage by Davis. Davis maintains the clinch.

Pais breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A cross from Pais lands.
Davis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davis tries to clinch up but Pais circles away and keeps his distance.

and Pais counters with a right hand to the body.
Pais lands a nice hook to Davis's body. Davis takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Davis is rocked!

Davis drops his hands momentarily. Pais doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Davis staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Davis doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
