PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mad Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Pearmine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mad Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Pearmine!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearmine throws a nice head kick!

Moore darts in and clinches Pearmine up against the cage.

Moore pulls Pearmine into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pearmine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pearmine trying to control the position from guard on top but Moore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moore throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pearmine escapes and throws Moore's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore struggling a bit here.

Pearmine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pearmine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Moore is breathing heavily.
Pearmine advances to full mount.
Moore tries to hold on but Pearmine postures up.
Moore takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Moore is squirming around, avoiding Pearmine's attempts to control the action.
Pearmine might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Moore kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Moore is trying to reverse the position but instead Pearmine has taken his back - oops!
Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pearmine on the ground.

Pearmine throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Moore!
Will Pearmine go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Pearmine is cranking Moore's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Moore! He's tightened the choke and Moore is tapping out!
