Penn has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jim Rogan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rogan defends it nicely.
Rogan stuffs the takedown.
Rogan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Penn shoots for a takedown but Rogan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rogan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
BJ Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rogan.

Rogan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Penn's calf.
Rogan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Oooooh!!! Rogan has knocked Penn down with a huge combo! Rogan steps away and waves a wobbly Penn back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like BJ Penn has been cut.

Rogan lands a big head kick that sends Penn tumbling to the mat! Rogan takes a step backwards and waves Penn back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Penn is rocked!
Rogan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Penn ducks into an uppercut from Rogan and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
