Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roussimoff fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Black sprawls well initially but Roussimoff persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Black is looking to improve his position.
Roussimoff is looking to advance position but Black won't allow it.
Roussimoff works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black is looking to regain half guard here but Roussimoff keeps moving and retains side control.

Black shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Roussimoff counters with a one-two to the body.

Black fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roussimoff.
Roussimoff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Black closes this distance looking for a takedown but Roussimoff circles away.

Roussimoff has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Black's face.

Black is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Roussimoff cracks Black with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Roussimoff lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

BOOM! Roussimoff connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Andre Roussimoff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Roussimoff dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Roussimoff's head and hops out.
Vinnie Black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Black swats away the attempt to clinch by Roussimoff.

Roussimoff drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Roussimoff trying to control the position from guard on top but Black is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Roussimoff looking to sit in guard and control but Black gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Roussimoff isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Black stacks Roussimoff on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Black!

Black is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Roussimoff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Black can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roussimoff is looking to escape.

Andre Roussimoff comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roussimoff has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
