The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Born takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Horowitz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Horowitz digs a good hook to Born's body.
Horowitz leaves Born with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Horowitz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Horowitz lands with a right hand.
Born shoots in for a double leg but Horowitz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A left lands for Horowitz.

Born shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Horowitz's guard.

Born is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Born has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Born thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Born is staying tight to Horowitz's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Born wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Horowitz, who protects the arm well.

Born decides to take the fight back to the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Born takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Born shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Born is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Horowitz!
