Diaz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

St Preux tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

St Preux is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Diaz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
St Preux feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tussaint St Preux overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Diaz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and St Preux dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
St Preux is in close to Diaz's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

St Preux controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Diaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
St Preux drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. St Preux seems to have locked his on tight now - Diaz screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for St Preux, as he picks up the win!
