Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Tamble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamble has chosen Lethal Industry as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tamble shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tamble showed some decent athleticism there.
Faber tries to get to full guard but Tamble has control of the leg.
Tamble is thwarting Faber's attempts to control the position.
Faber on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Tamble looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Faber with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Tamble wants to get back to his feet.

Tamble takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Tamble tries to pass the half guard into mount. Faber knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Tamble closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Faber to the mat! Faber manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tamble decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Faber, up you get!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Tamble stands up from Faber's guard - Tamble perhaps looking for a knockout.
Darren Tamble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Faber changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tamble tries to avoid it but Faber manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tamble to the ground. Tamble escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tamble connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Faber tumbling to the canvas! Tamble pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Faber was done - good stoppage!
