And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Arnel!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker shoots and misses

and Arnel moves into the clinch.

Parker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Parker closes the distance and pushes Arnel back into the cage.

Parker manages to break the clinch.
Parker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Arnel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Arnel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Arnel lands in his opponent's guard.
Parker has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Arnel has passed into side control.
You can see the frustration on Parker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arnel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Parker is trying desperately to improve position.

Arnel just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parker tries to escape but Arnel has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Parker is breathing heavily.
Arnel trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Parker doesn't escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Parker is in bad spot here.
Arnel slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Let's hope that Arnel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
