The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
a tries to close the distance and clinch but Cesar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

a drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and a jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cesar had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. a is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cesar Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take a's back instead.
a turns into Cesar and is now in his guard.
a wants to pass the guard but Cesar is keeping the position.

a manages to stand up with Cesar still on his back. Eventually Cesar drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Cesar throws a sloppy head kick and a moves out of range easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cesar tries to stall but a uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

a has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cesar clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Cesar manages to reverse the position and now he's in a's guard. Nice work there by Cesar.

Cesar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. a swivels though and keeps the full guard.
a seems keen to control Cesar's posture.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cesar stands and throws a's legs to the side, diving into side control.
a really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cesar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
