Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nester Asterix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stuart comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cowboyz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Phillip Stuart will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nester Asterix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phillip Stuart!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asterix shoots in and bounces Stuart off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Asterix trying to control but Stuart is working from the bottom.
Asterix postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stuart is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Asterix, into his guard.
Stuart wants to control from the top but Asterix keeps moving.
Stuart wants to stand but Asterix has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Asterix really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Phillip Stuart was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Asterix doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Stuart counter with a right hand.
Nice sprawl there from Stuart as Asterix shoots in.
Stuart is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Asterix closes the distance and clinches up with Stuart, looking for a takedown. Asterix pushes Stuart against the cage but Stuart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Asterix shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stuart gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Asterix counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Asterix is trying to control. Stuart wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Asterix is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stuart is just riding it out for now. Asterix eventually gives up the hold.
Asterix seems to be looking for submissions.
Stuart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Asterix. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stuart is looking for a sweep. Asterix is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stuart is trying to stand.
Asterix is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Asterix is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stuart is just riding it out for now. Asterix eventually gives up the hold.
Asterix seems to be working for a kimura but Stuart defends the submission attempt.

Asterix seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Asterix tries to pass to full mount but Stuart defends it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Asterix decides to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stuart fails in his attempt to clinch.
Stuart gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Asterix to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Asterix in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Asterix postures up and lands a big shot to Stuart's brow.
Asterix drops back looking for a leg! Stuart is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stuart manages to kick Asterix off! Asterix jumps back into Stuart's guard.
Asterix decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stuart, up you get!

so Stuart counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stuart is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Asterix has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Stuart is looking to defend but Asterix has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Stuart! Asterix pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Stuart taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nester Asterix!
