Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rendo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Almaz Anzor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anzor has chosen Ты кто такой? as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rendo Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Almaz Anzor!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anzor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Anzor misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie clobbers Anzor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gracie fails with the takedown.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Anzor sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rendo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie throws a leg kick
and Anzor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Anzor.
Gracie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Gracie is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slapping leg kick lands for Anzor.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Anzor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Anzor lands a body shot.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gracie fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Gracie successfully pulls guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Anzor from controlling successfully.
Anzor wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position.

Anzor wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anzor is one step ahead there.
Anzor wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anzor's guard.
Anzor is trying to control the position but Gracie postures up.
Gracie engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anzor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Anzor's legs - danger averted.

Anzor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gracie trying to control but Anzor is working from the bottom.
Anzor lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie!
Anzor tries to control but Gracie wriggling away.
Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Anzor goes for an armbar but Gracie turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Gracie.

Anzor looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gracie passes into side control.
Gracie tries to move to mount but Anzor blocks the move with his legs.
Anzor is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ground and pound from Gracie seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Gracie controls the position from side control.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but Anzor sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard.

Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Anzor rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Anzor is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
