Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Damm is looking to clinch.
Van Damm tries to clinch but Mir is having none of it.
Van Damm tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mir counters with a takedown into side control.
Mir thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Van Damm pushes Mir away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mir gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Van Damm on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Van Damm tries to get out of the position.

Mir has an Americana. Van Damm didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mir is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mir hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
