Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Obadiah Klinefelter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Corrida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klinefelter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Star Wars. Corrida comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shadowhunter kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Obadiah Klinefelter is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corrida throws a push kick but Klinefelter slaps the foot to one side.
Klinefelter takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Corrida counters with a straight right hand.

and Klinefelter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Corrida won't be happy with that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Corrida tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Klinefelter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Klinefelter sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Juan Corrida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corrida lands a nice hook to Klinefelter's body. Klinefelter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Corrida jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Klinefelter walks away with a smile on his face. Corrida gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Klinefelter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corrida paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Klinefelter counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Corrida shoots in for a takedown but Klinefelter shows good takedown defense.
Obadiah Klinefelter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Corrida.

Corrida fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Klinefelter avoids it really well and circles away.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
