Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Harone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mal Burrows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burrows wants the takedown. Harone is fighting it off but Burrows persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Harone's guard against the cage.

Burrows closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

No joy there for Harone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Burrows counters with a nice double leg into side control. Harone won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harone pushes Burrows away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Burrows gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Burrows is staying tight to Harone's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Harone is working to avoid the ground and pound but Burrows connects with a decent elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Harone is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Burrows off and has taken his back!

Burrows feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
