Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Nieto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Wentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nieto comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet the Blue Sky. Wentz has chosen Dance, Dance as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexandre Nieto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Wentz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nieto fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wentz checks it well.
A bone on bone clash there as Nieto blocks the leg kick.
Nieto connects with a solid leg kick.
Nieto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wentz.
Nieto lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wentz's sensitive parts.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wentz. Nieto does a little dance to reset his feet.

Wentz pushes Nieto up against the cage in a clinch.
Nieto blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Nieto will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wentz up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wentz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Nieto some visible discomfort.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wentz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nieto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wentz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nieto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wentz lets go of the hold and Nieto can pop his arm back in it's socket.
