Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Bunting!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ward Cee!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunting with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cee trying to control the position from guard on top but Bunting is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bunting is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bunting wants to sweep but no luck.
Cee throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bunting seems keen to control Cee's posture.
Bunting will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bunting keeping moving, preventing Cee from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cee closes the distance and clinches up with Bunting, looking for a takedown. Cee pushes Bunting against the cage but Bunting circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bunting moves away from the strike by Cee.
Cee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bunting as he jumps to the side.
Cee misses with a takedown
and Bunting counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
John Bunting has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ward Cee.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Bunting counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bunting scores with a hook.
It looks like Ward Cee has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bunting clobbers Cee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bunting scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Cee looks gassed!
Cee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bunting feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cee sprawling to the canvas! Cee rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bunting finish him?!
Cee is rocked!
Bunting lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Bunting!
