Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Poldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Boitsoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boitsoff has chosen My Domination as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Poldi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boitsoff!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poldi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Poldi closes the distance and clinches.
Poldi is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Boitsoff jumps guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Boitsoff is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Poldi is aware though and is defending well.

Boitsoff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Poldi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Poldi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Boitsoff has his foot on Poldi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poldi works his way back into a safe position though.

Poldi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boitsoff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Poldi defends it easily.
Poldi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Poldi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Boitsoff tries to keep at a distance but Poldi has taken the fight into the clinch.

Boitsoff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Poldi walks away with a smile on his face. Boitsoff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looks like Dmitry Boitsoff has been cut.
Poldi throws a shot to the body.
Boitsoff drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Poldi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boitsoff at a distance.

Poldi jabs Boitsoff right on the nose. Boitsoff blinks but takes it well.
Poldi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boitsoff.
Poldi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Poldi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Poldi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boitsoff crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Poldi - the referee stops the clock and Boitsoff gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Poldi. Boitsoff manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Poldi is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Poldi thows a body kick. Boitsoff tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Jack Poldi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Poldi.
Poldi lands with an uppercut that bounces Boitsoff off the cage and back into range.
Poldi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Boitsoff has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Poldi finds it's way round the side to connect with Boitsoff's head.
Boitsoff takes one on the button.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boitsoff gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Poldi.


That has opened up Dmitry Boitsoff's cut even more.
Poldi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Poldi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boitsoff's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Poldi clinches up with Boitsoff and pushes him back against the cage.
Poldi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Poldi works on Boitsoff's body with a couple of short punches.
Boitsoff is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Poldi to keep the fight standing.
Poldi content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Poldi pushes Boitsoff back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Boitsoff tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Poldi working some nice short punches in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Poldi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Boitsoff goes for a takedown in the clinch but Poldi prevents it.
Jack Poldi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitry Boitsoff.

Poldi has picked Boitsoff up - he's going for a ride! Poldi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Boitsoff is breathing heavily.

Dmitry Boitsoff's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Boitsoff has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Poldi.
Poldi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Boitsoff under the eye.
Boitsoff takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Poldi gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Poldi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Poldi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Poldi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dmitry Boitsoff's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jack Poldi!
