Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Cavalera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Al Capone!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cavalera clobbers Capone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cavalera looks to score with a jab to the body but Capone is just out of range.
Cavalera tries to clinch but Capone moves out of range.
Cavalera keeps the fight on the outside.
Cavalera fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Capone closes the distance looking to clinch

and Cavalera counters with a nice double leg into side control. Capone won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
You can see the frustration on Capone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cavalera is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cavalera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cavalera moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Capone has worked his arm free - good work by Capone!

Cavalera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Capone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
