The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ramos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saul swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Saul rushes ramos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Saul drags the fight down to the ground.
ramos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Saul working a defensive guard but ramos manages to pass into side control anyway.
ramos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saul keeps working.
ramos tries for a kimura but Saul is defending well.
ramos goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Saul rolls with the submission and now he's on top in ramos's guard! Nice work there by Saul!
Saul wants to control from the top but ramos keeps moving.

Saul decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
donato ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Saul stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Saul drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
ramos is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Saul frees his head nicely. Oh but ramos has switched to an armbar! Saul is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
