The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Fox.
Alves connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fox. Fox circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fox takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The fighters circling - Alves throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Fox is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alves.

Alves looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Red Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fox swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fox drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Alves walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Red Fox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fox throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fox misses the shot to the body.
Fox throws a body punch but Alves moves out of range.
Alves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fox throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alves sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Alves counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alves, as that shot connected.
Alves ducks under a wild hook from Fox.

Fox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Alves is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

A slow jab from Alves misses its intended target.
