Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knox comes to the cage accompanied by Something I Can Never Have. Guida has chosen Stupid Kid - Alkaline Trio as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Mickey Knox has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mickey Knox seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Guida is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Knox tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Guida smiles and moves away.

Some bone on bone action there as Knox checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Guida throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Knox was covering up waiting for the punch and Guida finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Guida controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Knox looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Knox has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guida can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mickey Knox will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mickey Knox.
I think Knox has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mickey Knox spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
