Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carolus Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Ruez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex comes into the arena with Sabaton - Carolus Rex blaring out of the sound system. Ruez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Harder Then You Think. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruez misses with a takedown attempt - Rex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rex ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rex.
Ruez fails with the takedown
and Rex counters with a takedown into side control.
Rex trying to control the position but Ruez is working away.
Rex is really struggling to control Ruez but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rex tries to advance to mount but Ruez denies him.
Ruez is wriggling around trying to escape but Rex has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Ruez taps out and Rex picks up the big win! Great work there by Rex!
