Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Bordin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Figueroa gets caught napping as Bordin dives in and scores a takedown. Figueroa manages to retain guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Figueroa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bordin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bordin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bordin passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bordin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Figueroa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Figueroa is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bordin off and has taken his back!

Figueroa slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
