And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig Friday!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friday avoids the head kick by D Sailo.
D Sailo fails in his attempt to clinch.
D Sailo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Friday swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Friday closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Friday lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Friday is looking to work some ground and pound but D Sailo has wrist control.
Friday throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as D Sailo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
D Sailo wants to sweep but no luck.
Friday seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Friday decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on D Sailo, up you get!

D Sailo pushes Friday away with a front kick.
D Sailo tries for a takedown but Friday sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
D Sailo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Friday is fending him off so far but D Sailo persists. Nope, Friday circles away and we're back to standing.

Friday closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Friday has worked his way into a potential kimura here. D Sailo is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Friday yanks on the arm and D Sailo is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Friday.
