Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Neilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike putman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neilson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Who Run This- 50 cent. mike putman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kevin Neilson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Neilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, mike putman!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neilson misses the jab.

Neilson rushes putman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

putman jumps guard and drags Neilson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

putman is working an open guard so Neilson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Neilson misses with a looping right.
Neilson with a jab.

putman throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Neilson stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. putman follows into mount!

Neilson is rocked!
putman controlling from mount.
Oh Neilson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Neilson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Neilson seems to have got his legs back now.
putman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
putman landing strikes from the mount and Neilson is in trouble!
You get the feeling that Neilson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

putman scoring with strikes but Neilson is staying in there.
Neilson wants to try and get back to his feet.
Neilson is breathing heavily.

putman with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
putman thowing shots but they're missing.
Neilson wants to control but putman is having none of it.
Neilson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
putman controlling the position easily from mount.

putman has hold of Neilson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Neilson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

putman looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
putman can't control as he wanted to and Neilson manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
putman stops Neilson from getting back to his feet.
putman missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Neilson tries to kick putman off but putman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
putman slips a jab and a cross from Neilson.
A punch combination from putman misses.
Neilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Neilson misses with a jab, cross combination.
putman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Neilson.
putman throws a shot to the body.

putman forces Neilson back against the cage and clinches.

putman is fighting off a takedown attempt but Neilson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip putman to the mat. putman regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Neilson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Nice jab there from Neilson.
putman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Neilson to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Neilson! putman is backing up but he can't get away as Neilson lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops putman and ends the fight. Great knockout.
