Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luca Luciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Figaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Luca Luciano has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luciano shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Figaro as he avoids it easily.
Luca Luciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luciano circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Figaro counters with a single leg into guard. Luciano didn't expect that.

Figaro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Luciano is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Figaro pushes down on Luciano's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Luciano is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Figaro wants to free his trapped foot but Luciano is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Luciano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Figaro frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luciano is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Figaro working for a guillotine from mount but Luciano is in no mood to give up.
Luciano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Figaro on the ground.

Figaro looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Luciano's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Luciano tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Luciano regains half guard.

Figaro passes the guard and advances to mount!
Luciano is breathing heavily.

Luciano has left one of his arms exposed and Figaro doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Luciano screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
