Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Ricci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricci clinches.
Ricci has Marciano pressed against the cage, preventing Marciano from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Marciano wants to get back to striking at distance but Ricci won't allow it.

Mike Ricci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Rocky Marciano will probably get the nod.

Ricci looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Marciano wants to get back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ricci connects with a nice short shot to Marciano's temple.
Ricci is taking a breather. Marciano says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
