Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dova Lova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lova.
Dova Lova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lova blocks a jab.
Lova misses with an uppercut.
Lova ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cruz moves away.
Lova looks to score with a jab to the body but Cruz is just out of range.
Lova misses with a body shot.
Lova staying out of range there.
Lova dips to his left and cracks Cruz with an uppercut!
Lova decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lova in particular looking to stall.
Lova is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lova wants to control but Cruz is keeping him busy.
Cruz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lova on the ground.

Lova in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cruz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lova!
