Karvakorva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Korn - Twisted Transistor . Mockenmaker has chosen break ya fu**ing neck as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mockenmaker takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mockenmaker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Karvakorva but Karvakorva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Karvakorva misses with a leg kick.
Mockenmaker works the jab nicely.

It looks like Jukkis Karvakorva has been cut.
Karvakorva lands a head kick. Mockenmaker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Karvakorva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mockenmaker.
Mockenmaker blocks a low kick nicely.
Karvakorva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mockenmaker. That did some damage!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mockenmaker clinches with his opponent.

Karvakorva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mockenmaker misses the shot to the body.
Karvakorva misses with a low kick.
Mockenmaker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Karvakorva shoots in looking for a takedown. Mockenmaker tries to sprawl out of it but Karvakorva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mockenmaker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mockenmaker just misses with a punch to the body.
Mockenmaker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Karvakorva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Karvakorva tries for a takedown but Mockenmaker circles away easily
and Mockenmaker counters with a three punch combo that has Karvakorva backing up. Karvakorva nods at Mockenmaker to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jukkis Karvakorva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice sprawl there from Mockenmaker as Karvakorva shoots in.
Karvakorva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mockenmaker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
