Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into range.
Jones moves away from the strike by Lewis.
No luck for Lewis with that takedown attempt.
Lewis swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones misses with a head kick.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lewis blocks a head kick by Jones.
Lewis loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.

Lewis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lewis pinned against the cage. Lewis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lewis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lewis gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Lewis manages to retain guard.
Lewis wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lewis to his feet.

and Lewis counters with a good, hard body kick but Jones shrugs it off.

Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lewis.
Jones darts in trying to clinch
and Lewis counters with a nice body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Lewis moved out of range nicely.
Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Some wild striking there from Lewis.

That was a close second round but I would say that Remy Jones will probably get the nod.

Lewis takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Jones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Jones jumps guard and drags Lewis to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lewis defends well.
Ray Lewis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Remy Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Lewis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Remy Jones.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
