Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Cragen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Collins comes to the cage accompanied by Irish Rebel Song. Cragen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Captain Cragen. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cragen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Collins counters with a body kick that stops Cragen in his tracks momentarily.
Collins stuffs the takedown attempt from Cragen. Cragen gets slowly back to his feet.
Collins is looking to slow Cragen down with leg kicks.
No luck for Cragen with that takedown attempt.
Max Collins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Cragen.
Collins wants to clinch up but Cragen keeps it at a distance.
Collins stuffs the takedown attempt from Cragen. Cragen gets slowly back to his feet.
Cragen dodges the punch combination from Collins.
Cragen dives in and grabs Collins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Collins pushes down on Cragen's head and hops out.
Cragen fails with the takedown.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cragen looks gassed!
Cragen takes one to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A punch combination from Collins misses.
A left and a right from Collins both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Don Cragen has been cut.
Collins stuffs the takedown.
Collins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Collins, as that shot connected.

Cragen is rocked!
Collins throws a series of punches but Cragen moves out of range.
Cragen misses with a takedown attempt - Collins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Collins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cragen is able to avoid easily.
Collins shoots for a takedown but Cragen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cragen shoots in for a double leg but Collins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice sprawl there from Collins as Cragen shoots in.
Cragen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Collins clinches up with Cragen and pushes him back against the cage.
Cragen is trying desperately to land a takedown but Collins is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cragen.
Collins prevents the takedown attempt.

Collins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Collins tries to bum rush Cragen with a series of wild strikes but Cragen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cragen gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Collins gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
