The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prestol throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dechamps sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice defenses there by Dechamps.
Prestol swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dechamps.
Prestol misses with a hook
and Dechamps counters with a stiff right hand.
Prestol throws a right hand that misses
and Dechamps counters with a right hand to the body.
The fighters circling - Prestol throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Prestol throws a lazy uppercut
and Dechamps counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Denny Prestol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prestol throws a hook but Dechamps blocks it.
Dechamps ducks under a wild hook from Prestol.
Prestol displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dechamps.
Prestol lands with a cross.
Dechamps uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Prestol.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dechamps goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Prestol misses with an uppercut. Dechamps saw that one coming.
Prestol throws a jab when Dechamps was well out of range.
Dechamps is trying hard to land a takedown here. Prestol sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Prestol, as that shot connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Prestol cracks Dechamps with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dechamps walks straight into a right hand from Prestol - that's dropped him! Prestol jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Dechamps from any more punishment! Dechamps complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
