Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bryce Niles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milos Jonak!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niles throws a right and a left that both miss.
Niles displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Milos Jonak has been cut.
Jonak misses with a wild body shot.
Niles staying out of range there.
Niles will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jonak dodges the punch combination from Niles.
Niles changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jonak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Niles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jonak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Niles in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Jonak can't do much from the bottom here.
Niles fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Niles is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jonak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jonak takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Niles throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Niles is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jonak is trying to escape and Niles transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jonak is forced to tap! Nice work there by Niles! Very nice indeed!
