Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cameron Bader told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Penn enables Bader to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Penn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Penn looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bader postures up and lands a big shot to Penn's brow.
Bader is in close to Penn's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Bader with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bader tries to free his leg and advance position but Penn is retaining full guard.
Bader slips nicely into half guard.
Bader looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Penn has hold of Bader's hands but Bader slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bader lands a nice short elbow.
Bader lands with a punch from half guard.

Penn is rocked!
Bader lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Oh Penn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bader is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Penn is hurt! He's hurt bad - Bader fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Penn from any more punishment! Congratulations to Bader! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cameron Bader!
Cameron Bader decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
