Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes has chosen Everybody Knows My Name as his entrance music. Hiro Nakamura has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Holmes misses.
Nakamura throws a series of strikes that have Holmes backpedaling.

It looks like Mike Holmes has been cut.
Holmes misses with a body kick.
Holmes lands a slapping body shot.
Holmes lands with an uppercut that bounces Nakamura off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Hiro Nakamura has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nakamura stuns Holmes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Holmes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nakamura connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Holmes scrambles back to his feet.
A good leg kick by Holmes.
A nice inside leg kick there by Holmes. That's going to slow Nakamura down.
Holmes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nakamura is out of range and Holmes settles back down.

Nakamura blocks a head kick by Holmes.

Holmes misses with a kick to the body.
Holmes misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nakamura throws a sloppy head kick and Holmes moves out of range easily.
A shot to the body from Nakamura misses
and Holmes counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nakamura's knee momentarily.
Holmes cracks Nakamura with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nakamura is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Holmes.
Nakamura avoids the body shot from Holmes.
Nakamura goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Holmes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nakamura has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mike Holmes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A thudding body kick lands there by Holmes!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Holmes closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A head kick from Holmes lands but Nakamura takes it in his stride.
Holmes throws a body punch but Nakamura moves out of range.
Holmes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nakamura.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nakamura crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Holmes - the referee stops the clock and Nakamura gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Holmes. Nakamura manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Holmes attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nakamura fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nakamura takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Holmes is rocked!
Nakamura lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Holmes is looking to slow Nakamura down with leg kicks.
Holmes moves out of range of the body kick from Nakamura.
Nakamura gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Holmes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nakamura is rocked!

Crack! A monster head kick from Holmes and Nakamura falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Holmes!
