The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wukong fails in his attempt to clinch.
A big right from Wukong misses.
Wukong misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wukong forces De Matos back against the cage and clinches.
De Matos lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Wukong tries a body shot but De Matos blocks it.
Wukong is trying to break free.
De Matos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wukong blocks a head kick by De Matos.
De Matos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
De Matos throws a nice inside leg kick.
A head kick misses from Wukong.
De Matos misses with a jab, cross combination.
De Matos misses with a series of wild punches.
De Matos dips to his left and cracks Wukong with an uppercut!
De Matos cracks Wukong with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body kick there by De Matos.

Wukong throws a leg kick but De Matos sees it coming and moves out of range.
Wukong connects with a body shot that sends De Matos's belly button to the back.
Wukong misses the body punch
and De Matos counters with a nice uppercut.
De Matos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
De Matos circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Wukong drops to the canvas, hurt badly! De Matos follows Wukong to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moacyr Domingos De Matos!
