The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Churcher blocks a jab.
Williams misses with a hook. Churcher ducked under it nicely.
Williams throws a big shot that misses.

Williams closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Churcher shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williams defends it nicely.
Williams looks to land a right hand but Churcher moved out of range.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Churcher moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Churcher looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Churcher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Churcher.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Churcher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Churcher eventually gives up the hold.
